Good News, Everyone!
So as we speak, Dan's going through some chemo right now. He's feeling pretty good, a little tired and rather bored. It's rather anti-climatic because you're just sitting there with an IV drip. But I just talked to him and according to his treatment schedule, he'll be able to play the Ottobar show on 5/31. So yea, everyone should come out to the show and see RSG! one more time before they go on a hiatus for the summer.
Thanks for your support and stuff!

Get well Dan!
Hi All,
Unfortunately, we're going to have to cancel some of our shows. As you may know, Dan had cancer last fall and it went away and we all celebrated and partied. But after 3 months of remission, the cancer (Hodgkin's disease) has come back. Dan will be going through a new regimen of treatments to get rid of it all and it'll be pretty tough. Lots of chemo, procedures, and recovery. So with that said, RSG will have to pull out of some shows. :( But no worries, once Dan is better, RSG will be back in action! In the meantime, feel free to send Dan well wishes at dan@dcska.com or Dan Hess, PO Box 341, Rockville, MD 20848. He'd love hearing from you guys! In the meantime, keep checking back for any updates we might have.
Thanks for everyone's support and well wishes, Michelle

Return of RSG!
We have our first show scheduled for March 17th St Patty's Day @ the Warehouse Next Door with the following groups also playing.
The Stabones The Hailing (new dc band featuring ex shakedowns) the Widows from Richmond.
The show is all ages. WND is located at 1071 7th St., Washington, DC 20001
As this lineup dictates this will be a kick ass show. This is our first show in 6 months we sure have missed playing. We hope to see all of you there rocking out like old times. We have tons of new songs that we will be debuting at this show. Also expect to hear some of our older stuff. We will be announcing new shows very soon.
Also don't forget to check out my new mobtown ska sounds podcast (http://www.rudeindc.com/mobtown) and Andy has a show on Sunday Morning at 4am on wmuc at college park (to download or stream his show go to www.wmucradio.com )
Bob and the rest of RSG!

Check out our new site!
We're in the process of adding more stuff to it so keep checking back. Some of you guys might be wondering what happened to us because we randomly stopped playing shows since October. Rest assured, we didn't break up. Our singer, Dan, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease a type of lymphoma in early October. He's been through several rounds of chemo over the past few months, and the cancer is in remission now. He has one last round of chemo coming up and he should be a-ok to play shows and be around germy people starting in mid-March. In the meantime, we're writing new songs and we're eagerly awaiting to play shows again. Check this site or our MySpace page for our upcoming shows.
Your pals, the Ready Steady Go!
